Proteus Professional v9 has several new features built into the proteus software. One is them is UI theme which was explained in Proteus UI Theme, another is Proteus ProPilot AI assistant, and yet another new helpful feature is the System Probe.
Proteus v9 introduces System Probe where you can connect oscilloscope probe directly to any wires and component pins on the schematic. You can use up to 4 channel probes measuring four different places on circuit.
There are two ways to access the system probe tool in Proteus v9. The first is the button on the bottom near the run button and the second is by going to Debug>System Probe. To use it you first have to run the circuit simulation and then only will be the system probe tool available.
Using the system probes makes the circuit analysis and debugging really easy. Now unlike in previous version of Proteus Professional Software, you had to place an oscilloscope on the schematic and them connect them using either direct wire to the channels or use terminals and label them. Now in this newer Proteus Professional v9 you can easily attach the oscilloscope probes onto any wires, like wirelessly. So this system probe tool is a valuable feature that proteus has added.
